Principal Secretary for Livestock development, Jonathan Mueke, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to grassroots development during a Youth and Women Empowerment event held in Migwani, Kitui County.
Accompanying the Speaker of the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Wetang’ula, and Mwingi West MP Hon. Charles Nguna, PS Mueke praised ongoing projects in the region, highlighting key initiatives such as the construction of the Kwa Siku–Mbondoni Road and the expansion of local markets.
These developments, he noted, are directly uplifting livelihoods and setting the stage for long-term progress.
Mueke also thanked President William Ruto for prioritizing infrastructure and economic empowerment across Kitui and the country at large. His message — encapsulated in the phrase #NiSaaSyaKwaka — called on citizens to support and participate in ongoing transformative efforts aimed at building the nation from the ground up.
